I've been trying to learn this song, but am struggling. It looks simple if you watch the video, but I can't get it to sound right and am thinking maybe there is a non-standard tuning going on?
Here is a good MP3 of it:

And here is a muddy video clip:

Hopefully someone can get me started!

Sounds to me like the basic chord progression is Bm, D, A. At the beginning it sounds like Bm, D, G# something. The G# there seems a bit odd, but other than that.
In the live version he's playing a half step down (Bbm, Db, Ab). It almost looked like he had a capo on his guitar, but the video quality (or lack thereof) makes it hard to tell. He might just have his guitar tuned down 1/2 step to make it easier to sing.
Update: corrected the first chord because I'm an idiot.

Hey, I looked at the video, and I think you're correct that he uses a capo. At around 1:08 in the video you get a reasonable view of it, plus a view of the chord progression.
But I don't know enough chords to recognize them!!! Help?

It looks like he's capoing the first fret. Then he's basically playing an Am, C, G shape. Seems like there's another chord that might be in there, but the audio and video quality of that clip doesn't allow me to see or hear it clearly.
