To go with the regret of selling a few guitars, one of my favorite Beatles songs

Coming from a guy that "finds" forgotten guitars in a closet, I couldn't begin to imagine the list. That could be my second list "Guitars I regret I didn't buy from Rocket".

Regrets, I have a few...but too few to mention.
And what other path in life might I have taken "if only" I had done a couple things differently? Quite honestly, I don't want to know. So, if decisions in the past no matter how seemingly insignificant, have led me to where I am today, then I'd have to call that a good thing.
This is why you never want to mess with the whole temporal, space/time continuum thing.....:D
OK, enough new age philosophy...I'm stating to sound like a Star Trek episode...;)

I'll try to resist the urge... no promises.

Well, for me, all these Friends would still be with me...:thwap:

Well, I would like to have been in a position to grab that Squire Deluxe from you Strum, and/or snag a good tele, and/or get one of the cabs that were blown out a year or so ago, along with a cheap Blackheart, and especially would like to have been in a position to grab a very nice used Martin D-28 that sold here a few months ago. But those are not really regrets. The right time will come.

Sure they are, just regrets in the other direction. I have the Blackheart regret

Strum, crying over them now is like casting the wrong vote- too late.
I've done that too but so far not with guitars.

If I didn't sell what I've sold...I wouldn't have the current stable.
(that's what I tell myself. Over & over. then over again...)

OK, so now that Strum has that Idol cooking, maybe I'm having a little bit of regrets for this:

I'm just glad she wound up in a good home! Make that baby SMOKE Mark! Can't wait to hear how she sounds with those 'buckers! :bravo:

Ronnie, you can sleep better tonight knowing that it filled the void left by me selling the ARC300

Like I said, I'm glad she wound up in a good home. Enjoy her Strum!
BTW, anybody want to buy a Squier Strat? I'm saving up for another guitar to be named later...

After the work you put into it, you are going to sell it?
A guitar to be named later? Is this like waiting to see the prospects in spring training?
You had two guitars and you are selling the second one now? I thought you liked that Strat?

Just remember to beat it up a little before you sell it

I'm still in the accumulation phase. I'm sure that I'll have to sell one eventually, but don't know which one. They all have tons of sentimental value to me.
If the wife wants me to eventually sell one, I'll put it on craigslist, no pictures, for $1,500.00 USD cash. "Gee, honey, I guess noone wanted to buy the guitar!"

Yeah, I've grown a little frustrated with her. I've put the stock electronics back in, which weren't too bad to start with, and the original bridge & tremolo. I did leave the tortoiseshell pickguard, which it and the cavity are shielded.
To be named later, I'm either going to find that "right" Strat or Strat-copy. With the money from the sale of the Squier, I'm going to save up and see what I can find. Wish me luck!

I worked out recently that I've owned 57 guitars in my life, and I now have 6 left, so I guess I have 51 regrets in my life! :)
