The Classic Rock Society just released it's best of the year awards. You can check into some of these results to maybe find some new music.

CLASSIC ROCK SOCIETY: The annual Classic Rock Society BOTY Awards show was held on Saturday 10th January. This years winners are:
Best Male Vocalist - Peter Nicholls

Best Female Vocalist - Christina Booth

Best Keyboards - Oliver Wakeman

Best Bass - John Jowitt

Best Drummer - Johanne James

Best Guitarist - Chris Fry

Best Album Cover - Metamorphosis/Magenta

Best Album - Pure/Pendragon

Best CRS Gig - Magenta

Best Track - This is England/It Bites

Best Band - Magenta

Best New Band - Panic Room

CRS Musician of the Year - John Mitchell

Roots - Troy Donockley

MD's Award - Final Conflict

I applaud the society for its healthy sense of irony. A "best new artist" for "classic" rock. Or perhaps I am the one who is defining something incorrectly.

Yes. It's Classic Rock Society not Classic Rock Music. All the artists listed are in the genre of Progressive.
