It seems the Powder Blue SST57 has been a good seller for Rondo. Just got through looking at the site, and it appears that they're gone. The other colors are there, and I still like the black and vintage white models...

Did ya have to write such a good review, Tremoloman?;) :D

It sure was the best looking SX strat. I bet they will order another round of that fine color.

How about that candy apple red - don't you guys think it's gorgeous?!

The candy apple red is nice too, but if I had to choose from one of the available I would easily take the lake placid blue.

Rondo seems to sell out of guitars rather quickly. I remember looking at one once and the next day 2 models were missing.

Yes the powder blue is awesome looking, but I'm sure more will surface. I was going to order Candy Apple Red when the blue model showed up the next day.

The other colors look sweet. The pink one has a matching headstock and I know my girlfriend's daughter will like this way more than the "Hello Kitty" Squier that only has 1 pickup and no tone controls.

Update:
I found SX's website. When looking at the specs on their guitars, Powder Blue, Pink, and Vintage Green seem to be limited edition colors as they are not regularly offered. SX 57/62 Vintage series specifications (http://www.sxguitarspain.com/sx_vintage_series.htm)

Here's the SX Website (http://www.sxguitarspain.com/electrics.htm) you can look at to see all their models. The site is in Spanish but easily accessable for us English speaking types.

There are lots of up close pics from Rondo's eBay site (http://stores.ebay.com/Rondo-Music-On-Line)

No doubt that they will continue to produce the most wanted colors/models..

I saw that a online dealer here has this http://www.sxguitarspain.com/sx_limited_2_series.htm , its a bit more expensive but sure looks good.

No worries, I can certainly wait! Yep, no doubt that Rondo will bring back the PB color, since it sold so quickly this time, it's just gonna be a matter of time, until he can get a new shipment in...

I like looking at Rondo's selection. Because of the turnover, there are new and interesting models coming through all the time. One of these days, he's gonna come out with something that I'm just gonna have to have, and I'll grab it...:D

Kurt's had a few bright yellow guitars on his site... It wouldn't surprise me to see one of those, since the SST guitars appear to be a good seller, and he's brought in other colors (PB, Green, Pink).

Too bad SX doesn't make that more rounded headstock shape here in the states. That's a nice lookin' bunch of guitars!!! I like the bright white one as well.

The yellow one looks awesome..I would like to see it with a maple neck!

I'll send Kurt an email tomorrow when I get to work and inquire about the powder blue, yellow, and other colors we've been mentioning.

I agree the Japan model SX guitars do have a little nicer headstock, but the Rondo models are still really cool. I think they are the best knock-off of the Stratocaster without breaking any patents.

I'm 99% sure I'm going to experiment today and try installing a Fender MIM bridge with a Callaham block in my SX today. The SX sounds awesome as is but lacks sustain in comparison to my other Strats. The SX is lighter than any guitar I own and feels almost too light to me. I'm so used to heavy guitars that light models feel like toys to me now. The Callaham block adds some noticable weight to a guitar and love how solid it feels when one has been installed. I've had a block set aside for my ongoing JagMaster/Washburn N4 project but don't think I can resist giving it a try any longer. ;)
