What?!? This isn't generating any excitement? OR are you all just pretending not to be interested... I'm out - having just gotten '1 more guitar' - but with all those G&L's and Reverends, somebody's gotta be droolin'!

Edit: Hmm, I see that the prices have started to climb... who let the cat out of the bag?

I am drooling over an ASAT on the list. That is for sure.

So, is this a private collection or a shop that's been busted for non-payment of taxes or something?

Quite fancy that Huss & Dalton OM, mind ;)

Well, there are a few things that caught my interest. I don't understand why people get into bidding wars well before deadline. I guess they get caught up in the excitement.

Once the auction goes live to on sight buyers, my guess is there will be a number of music stores taking over a lot of the items.

If I read the rules correctly, you can bid on-line, but the people attending can outbid you and you have no way of countering their bid.

I've been looking through all of the items and I'm thinking this might be a pawn shop bust. At first I thought most of the stuff was new, but then I noticed that most of the items are marked as "3" for condition (1+ being the best and 5 the worst). Since "3" is mid in the range, that would indicate that all the items are used (IMHO).

My only concern would be that this item from another auction is rated a "3"

Despite that, the guitars are a GAS generator.

That was my impression- internet bidding stops once the live auction starts. Plus they add a $15 premium to any applicable shipping costs.

You probably need to be from the US to bid isn't it ? They are some great guitars on the list :AOK:

Thanks, Kerc. I really needed to spend the rest of my afternoon looking at EVERYTHING in the first two auctions. I'd be broke if I went and only bought what was a killer deal. I have my eye on one of the Martin Acoustics, as well as a tool chest, and a WHOLE bunch of the tools and car parts from the other auction....
