Mack amps gave me this offer recently, and I'm happy and flattered of course! :bravo:

I will help Mack amps to show off their amps, via videos, gigs and recordings. Should be an interesting time.

Well, we're stuck on the naming of it. "Huge Veins, "Arteries On The Outside", "Vein Man", "Crazy Swede", "Balding Head", "Marathon Rocker", - any other ideas? :)

Seriously, I have begun some discussions about amp modifications, so who knows what will come out of it.

Wow! Congrats, RR! Very cool! :AOK: :dude: :bravo:  :master:

Of course, this does create some serious problems! Playing that new Marshall amp of yours would constitute a major conflict of interest given your endorsement status. However, I will selflessly volunteer to take it off your hands and make sure that this unfortunate lapse in judgment on your part doesn't get back to the Mack folks, if you get my meaning. You have my mailing address.

You don't have to thank me. Really. Just happy to be of service....

What's gonna happen with that VH410 right now???

Does this mean free Mack amps for fretters with over 6,000 posts, 6 or more referrals, and - well, we'll stop there, don't want to exclude everyone:D

Y'all have it backwards, equipment doesn't endorse artists... artists endorse equipment.
Depending on the contract... not always a bargain.

Cheers Robert... no dogfighting or bong-sucking!

How cool is that! And really nice compliments for the Fret and Dolphin Street.

But it should say, "Endorsed by Robert 'You're so Vein' Renman"...;)

Or how about this for the metal crowd: "Go for the jugular - play a Renman Vein-Meister Special. It's dripping with tone!"

OK, I'll stop now... Congrats!

Wow ya go away for the weekend and miss all this news...

Congratulations Robert! You must be so thrilled :)

@ Rocket. I think it's a bit of a two way street. Sure the concept is for the Artist to endorse the Product with an aim to generate more sales of the Product via it's association with the Artist. (Leaving out aspects of marketing and promotion) But I think it's in no small way an endorsement of the Artist by the Vendor (not the product, because, well, the product is inanimate) as well. Endorsements can be viewed as a tool to increase (or skew) the brand value of the Product by adding the brand value of the Artist. If the Vendor didn't think the Artist had any value to add to the Product they wouldn't be offered the contract. So in effect I feel Artist endorsements go both ways :)

Oh and how about... "Once you go Mack, there's no going back!" for a slogan...

Great News Robert :bravo: You deserve it !

which type of amp are they ? heads or combo amps ? Tell us a bit more ;)

Robert
February 16th, 2009, 09:25 AM
I get good deals on all their amps. They make both heads and combos. They are handwired and very simply designed. Solid state rectifiers. There will be a small "micro" amp ready soon, which I will make some demos of.

My Heatseeker has 2 EL84 tubes and delivers 18 watts.
