Wonderwall by Oasis Strum Pattern

Hope this is the right place to post this question. I am learning the song Wonderwall by Oasis with the help of my instructor, however I am having trouble determining the "proper" strum pattern (if one exists!):confused: . Any suggestions from those who play this song?

I did search google and have found a lot of different suggestions but since I have had such great dialogue with you guys, I figured I would ask here knowing that I at least sort of "know" who is giving the advice. Does that make any sense? I don't know. Anyway, hope someone can give a good suggestion or two.
