I disagree w/ classical vibrato not being effective w/ electric. Allan Holdsworth uses it all the time and it can sound awesome. It is more subtle than up and down but still has its uses. Arlen is awesome regardless!

George Lynch uses what you might call a highly exaggerated classical vibrato all the time. No surprise since he started out on a classical guitar. Actually, he has a different name for it which I won't mention here, but you might be able to guess, given the hand motion involved.

Hey, I remember that........it got me working on my vibrato after bends, and really helped me improve.:D

as long as I can remember have always preferred classic viola trem style to the trem bar.those dive bomb days have been gone a pretty long time now. :D
