Hey guys,

I've been having some issues lately.. when i put my Digitech EX-7 before my ZVEX Fuzz Factory and turn both of them on, it makes heavy white noise, like a radio not tuned into anything, or if i just turn on the fuzz, it modulates and crackles like crazy.. i can't figure out why this is.. i tried using various buffer pedals, like a wh10 or a distortion factory, but its still noisy...

someone told me it might be my cables, but it seems kinda strange, when its just these two pedals...

thanks

I m not a tech but i guess The digitech Ex7 might be the cause ,i have a digitech Tone driver wich sounds pretty good but can get some biz.. noise sometimes ..

Guess you tried it reverse The Fuzz before ,the germanium fuzz led can be pretty noisy , that s what some tech told me ..

If you have a effects loop i d try to plug the Ex7 in there just to see how it goes..

I guess the little boutique number just doesn't play well with buffers. For a Ge fuzz to respond properly it should be directly connected to your guitar. I'd put fuzz before modulation anyway as a general rule.
