I just got the cheaper version - the Danelectro Transparent Overdrive. Nice pedal.

I don't think the Timmy is anything like the Dano ... IMO , But let people decide for themselves !!! Here's a YouTube demo by Gearmanndude with a side by side comparison !!!

Yeah I have a Timmy. I use it all the time. It's fantastic for my needs.

What kind of stuff do you play ? Can you give me some insight to the pedal ? As I have quite a wait yet .......
