While taking a break during a very tedious trial I surfed some Craigslist ads and came across this gem...

If you want there are a few other choice ads that follow a bit further up the list. :D

Hey Tone, it's OT so forgive me, but back in the 70's they used to have an annual jazz fest at West Mesa High School where all the regional High School jazz bands would perform (I graduated in Grants). Any idea if that still happens?

It used to be kinda cool, in a bad sort of way.

Hmm I have no idea I'll have to find out for you. I know we played there one year when I was in high school jazz band and I played trumpet. I went to Rio Grande and WM was our rival. Let me research this and get back with you good question.

Esteban...what a racket.

True Story: Esteban is actually from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (no kidding), and is actually of Polish-American descent. He took the name "esteban" from somebody that he studied under for guitar.

In other words, the guy is as much Spanish as a Pierogie.

I can personally attest to the "quality" of the Esteban guitars. My poor cousin has one and I ended up embaressing myself one night attempting to tune it while him and his wife waited patiently to hear the perfectly tuned beauty. Took me more than 5 minutes to "tune" and even then it wouldn't keep anywhere NEAR tune so I grinned sheepishly and quickly changed the subject as I put it down on the couch. It was a present from his wife. :thwap:

Moral: Friends don't let friend's wives buy guitars. Unless their name is Childbride. :)

Laugh? It should make anybody who pays $400+ for this pedal see RED when they find out that it's basically a Rat circuit with maybe $25 worth of mods. Absurd. :reallymad: My Rabid Rodent will run rings around this thing tonally....for $135.
