I've been on a huge Faces kick lately, and I have been trying to dial in the tone. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience w/ a fuzz or overdrive pedal that could get me a similar tone to an overdriven Ampeg?

The Durham Zia Drive (http://www.durhamelectronics.com/ziadrive.html) pedal claims to do just that:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/UNLdjCLiRhM&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/UNLdjCLiRhM&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

I don't own one, so I can't comment on whether their claim stands to the test or not, but the clips sound pretty nice.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestion. It sounds pretty good, I'm definately checking into it!
