Asking Floridians: JJ Grey & Mofro ..?

Just heard JJ Grey & Mofro on college radio locally.

I liked the sound (*) and looked the band up, they are out of Florida

Do our resident Floridians know/like/dislike them..?

(*) I was picking my wife up by car at the commuter train with pooch, and had the JJ Grey song cranked up pretty loud..... She: "I am driving around with my teenage son and my dog...!"

They are great .We go back a long time (lots of stories and memories) Check all 4 albums out!!!!!:beer:

Orange Blossoms is the new album and a nice follow-up of Country Ghetto.It is polished a lil more than Blackwater or Lochloosa.(I like the latter 2 albums most real raw raunchy swamp soul !!! ):rockon:

I loved them at first. I still love some of their stuff, but it gets kind of old after awhile. Seeing them live was kind of fun, but there are parts of the show where JJ tells stories about "old Florida" and those parts of the show just got longer and longer and longer. Still, for someone who is not burnt out on them they can be a lot of fun so they are worth checking out.
