I just finished watching the first episode of PBS's "We Shall Remain", an "American Experience" project. I love the American Experience series. This series within the series focuses specifically with native american history in the United States. It is a topic that has always fascinated me. The first episode "After the Mayflower" is basically about the native tribes around the Plymouth rock/Massachusetts area at the time just after the Mayflower and during the time of the first Thanksgiving; The Wampanoag of New England and the treaty negotiated with the Pilgrim settlers. It begins to outline and portray a very thought provoking tale about western european expansion into the area and onto the continent. I thought it was very well done and as I said, very thought provoking. The next episode is "Tecumseh's Vision" and looks fascinating.

I am curious if others have watched it, and what they thought. I do not think it is political discussion. I am asking about what people thought about a historical program. If I am wrong, I am glad to take the post down of course. Anyway, anyone catch it? Thoughts?
