They are still putting out great music.

Tull's put out some great stuff--how can you not like "Locomotive Breath"? How many other bands put out hard rockin' tunes like that with a lead flutist?

But every time I think of them I think of how they won the first Grammy in the "metal" category over Metallica. I remember some of my hardcore metal friends who were looking for someone to disembowel. Funny crack by Lars the next year about how it was a good thing that Jethro Tull hadn't put out another album.

Over anybody in that category. It just doesn't make sense.:messedup: They aren't a metal band at all. Surely they deserve an award but that was just wrong.

How many other bands put out hard rockin' tunes like that with a lead flutist?...one of my favorite's, Golden Earring w/multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Barry Hay, and for about as long as Mr. Tull.
