Thanks for posting. I always feel Roy had a wonderful touch and tone but an often lamentable taste in material (musical and trouser :) ).

Blaze: you just blew me away with that clip of Roy with Johny Otis. In the vid is Johny Otis's son Shuggie Otis. He was a Fifteen year old prodigy. I have several of his CD's all imports from Europe. I never knew his Dad was a white guy. Shuggie was a fabulous player at 15 but got side tracked by drugs and booze and his playing deteriorated to nothing.
I don't want to hijack the thread but you just gotta hear this Kid at 15
It is a little long but worth it. OH I forgot to mention he played a 335!
