A nice clip of this awesome Blues-Rock Riff that was 18 minutes on the Filmore east album..
Duane had a incredible impro back then by himself and then with the drummer..

I ve always love that tune , in fact , i m playin it with my band and it s such a joy to jam on..

He's not. This is an older video. The album they are promoting on this Letterman appearance is from 1995.

Great version of the song though. I love the ABB.

The first time I learned this old Willie Cobbs song, it was the version on Super Session with Mike Bloomfield, Al Kooper, and Stephen Stills. When I heard the Allman Brothers version on Live at the Filmore East, I remember thinking, "hey, I know this song", and sat down and adapted to the Allman Brothers version. One classic song, two great versions.

Indeed. I love the Super Session version too. Bloomfield was awesome.
