There used to be a cool forum here:

http://www.peaveyT-60.com

The above website is still there, and has lots of great T-60 info, but apparently there was some drama I wasn't privy to, and the forums went bye-bye.

:(

If anyone is interested, especially people from the old forum at peaveyt-60.com, there's a new forum here:

http://www.t60mafia.com

Spread the word. It's a good, close-knit group. Chip Todd, the inventor of the T-60 (and iirc the T-40 bass) posted on the old forum regularly, hopefully he'll arrive at the new place soon as well.

Those are great guitars. I remember the first time I picked one up. I thought, wow this plays really great. I should have gotten it because it was used and very inexpensive, but because it wasn't the "design dejour" I skipped it. It would be cool to visit with the designer and inventor. Thanks for the link Krash.

You betcha. I just got an e-mail back from Chip, so he should be over there at the new forum soon. The old site has tons of info from Chip about T-60's and such. Plus, Dave Wendler, an ex-Peavey employee from the post-T-60 era, and a luthier/manufacturer in his own right, just checked in over at the new place too.

Definitely register. They're leaving registration open for awhile so the people from the old forum can migrate over, after that to deter spammers they'll require a mod's authorization, but only for purposes of keeping the bots out. Chip is a very cool guy, nice as pie, great stories.
