What to do in Montreal?

I might be going to Montreal in September, to run a marathon.

Lots of good jazz clubs there, I imagine? Anyone have any tips for things to see and do?

Dont know about strip joints but they re some good Blues & Jazz places down town Montreal ..

September might be a little quiet compare to the Summer fest time ..
