Of course, the old bagel was hard as a rock, so the knife slid off and cut me fretting finga! :(

No guitar playing for me this week.

Dude, that is so OUCH! Bummer. I only eat my bagels whole anymore just so that I don't do that. Unfortunately I do cut up a lot of veggies for stir fry so I'm not completely out of harms way.

I hope you heal quickly.

Bumma! What you doin' cuttin' up bagels, man? Don't you have someone to do that for ya? Some underling or peon or assistant or secretary...a personal bagel-cutter, even! Those hands are golden man! Like Betty Grable's legs, insured for $1 million, right!? :rotflmao:

If you're a regular bagel eater, you need a Bagel Biter (http://www.cutleryandmore.com/bagel-slicer.htm?src=Google&cam=Misc&sub=Bagel+Biter&kw=bagel%20slicer&gclid=CIfX3fjp6ZoCFQ0MDQod2VzwAw):

I read somewhere where lacerations form bagel-cutting accidents was the number one home kitchen injury treated in emergency rooms.

Hope you didn't cut a vein, Robert.... ;)

Terrific suggestion, Vood.

Now I'll get back to repainting the ceiling in order to get rid of the blood spray from cutting my veins.... :)

"i was doing maintenance on the raido reciever ontop of the tallest building in new york, and i fell off of an edge that wasnt supposed to be there"

I would think that you would have learned after I did this:

Ouch! Could not have been a good day for you.

Well, it happened like this. I was on vacation when we were jumped by a group of brigands wielding scimitars. I managed to fight them off but took a scimitar to the fingertips.

The reality is (as I think I've posted before) I was trying to unclog the chute of my snowblower and the impeller bit them. Not one of my finer moments. Hard to believe that that's over eight years ago already.
