On this clip i had a go on tryin different tone set ups at the same B.T..

First, Theme and solo straight from the Clean channel of my Traynor 0:00--1:36

Then 12 Bars blow on the crunch channel. 1:36--1:57

Next 24 solo bars with a Digitech Tone Driver i have'nt use for a while. 1:57--2:39

Next 24 bars on a Zen Drive clone my tech is workin on lately.. 2:39--3:20

Finaly last theme to the end Traynor Crunch channel again.. 3:20 -----

The guitar has been plugged first in a Rc Booster all knobs at 12 o'clock for each part..

Add a slight boss DD2 delay in the send return ..

Clip (http://www.box.net/shared/yfii2yrdf3)

The B.T. is a Scott Lerner Jazzy style in C min.

Obviously you ll notice tone change throughout the track..

Blaze that was amazing. Great feel and thick and warm tone. I like the Zen Drive tone the best. It really adds a lot of colour while remaining smooth sounding. The BT is also extremely good to play over.

Yeah , you re right about the Zen ,i liked the Digitech Tone driver too ,it s much harder and stiff but it s a pretty cool pedal to tweak some set up from an amp..
The traynor, crunch & clean sound, is not to bad ,it s also pretty cool with a Ts9 or Coolcat tod as well.. anyway that was fun to do ,have nt play Jazz for a while specialy in the C min. modes..

Thanks for comments guys..

Sounds great Blaze! I just wish my little 'Box' player had a time counter so I could have followed your changes more closely. Regardless, a great clip. I'm really impressed with how many Fretters are posting within the Clip section lately. I've said it before... this is without a doubt one of my favourite sections here at the Fret.Net :AOK:
Cheers

Man. They all sound great. But the playing is what makes it. My own personal taste runs to the tone and sounds in the opening and closing -- find some of the harder drive too much. But you own the melody and scales.
Could you post the naked BT perchance? I'd be scared to post it after your playing, but might take a stab anyway.

Great job, Blaze! I love how you phrase your leads, and the sounds you get out of your Traynor. You post your clips, and I go back to the drawing board and start over..............:D
You sure know how to make a guitar talk, cry, and smile.:AOK:

Great playing all around! Color me impressed with your jazzy skillz. The clean passages were very nice. The pedals added a cool dimension. There was something about the Traynor crunch that just seemed a bit harsh compared to the pedals.

Thanks Marnold , i use to play Jazz more before ,so i was tempted when i heard that cool fusion style B.T.

The Boost channel of the Traynor is pretty rock & roll, i d like to try some other tube set up sometimes ,don t know much about it..

The Traynor YCV40WR real tube overdrive is provided by three 12AX7WA dual triode preamp tubes while real tube power is provided by two 5881WXT beam power tubes..

Classic Celestion™ Vintage 30 speaker is in this combo amp..
