I don't know if this has been posted before, but if it has it certainly deserves reposting.

As one who admits to not being a huge Jimi fan, I still have a lot of appreciation for this. This just grabs be by the n*** and kicks a$$

Robert Randolph makes it, I would have preferred to hear him sing the whole thing. Rob Thomas is, well, Rob Thomas. Nevertheless, a very cool cover.

Man, I dig Robert Randolph! I can't wait to see him. He's doing a stadium gig here (Detroit) as "special guest" with Lynyrd Skynyrd & Kid Rock.

One of my favorite clips of Randolph was on the Crossroads festival DVD, where he's jamming with Doyle Bramhall during "Green Light Girl". :rockon:
