Hi,

Yup. Another newbie here. Really good to be here.

Just been checking out some of the threads here and picked up some awesome advice already. Good to see some sub-forums on gear and recording as well as guitars.

Totally love playing my guitar (Jackson), but know I'm not that good. More money than talent, but hey! having fun. :)

Hopefully I can give a bit back here with my background in sound recording.

Ps. Summer's finally come round here. Any of you guys spend too much time playing guitar whilst your friends get out and catch some rays?

Welcome Ed! Where are you at?

Yeah, I sometimes stay inside and play instead of mowing the lawn... :)

Hi Robert,

Thanks for the welcome.

Living in sleepy old England. Trying to wake my neighbours up by cranking up the amp. :AOK:

As you probably know, we don't get much good sun round here but as you say, the lawn can wait...

Some real useful info here on the forum. Gonna be spending alot of time here!

Welcome Ed!

I'm sure you'll be able to help some folks if you know about sound recording.

Hey, I resemble that first part, not that I have that much money. ;) Welcome, I will look forward to your sound recording info. I do a bit just at home with my Toneport UX2, a coupla mics, and my computer, and am going to be putting it altogether with a Yamaha keyboard, in a new rec room going in. I would love any input you might have if i may ask. A bunch of us do get out to catch rays, though us Idahoans have been having record rain lately. The weekend thread is a good place to see what folks do as a start. I hope you have fun here!
