Guitar Center is having their King of the Blues competition again and they have posted 25 downloadable backing tracks (http://gc.guitarcenter.com/kingoftheblues/tracks.cfm) to be used in the competition. I figured that free blues backing tracks == good.

Hey Rev. Thanks for the heads up. I checked them out and they are basically the same as last year with five new ones. I will download the new ones.

I found that the original 21 tracks from last year are my staple go to tracks for playing over. I use them almost every time I play. The new ones will be fun to figure out an improvisation to them.
There are been a couple of different takes on Monkey Paw, posted here I think and it was interesting to hear the different direction they took from what I am playing over it. Lots of fun.

There's also one from last year called "Modern Blues" that was taken out for some reason. A minor point.
