We bribed him. If you have $100, you can be one, too. It's Canadian money, so it's not really all that much....

John Nance Garner, Vice President under FDR from 1933 - 1941, once declared that the vise presidency of the US was "not worth a bucket of warm p*ss". This is still of significantly higher value than Fret.net forum moderator. So save your $100.... ;)

Vood - I think that he said 'warm spit' - it was 1933 after all. Notice that I decided NOT to spell it as you did, 's*it' for reasons which will be clear since I wanted to avoid the likelihood of a misreading - not to mention the possible wrath of a moderator...

That's what many think he said, since it was apparently "cleaned up" by the media of the day, but I assure you my quote is accurate. See the following article, down next to the cartoon:

Actually there are no mods, they are just Robert using different log in names. That is why you never see more than one of them at a time.

Robert likes to make people think he has a private army. As a matter of fact, there are only three "real" forum members, there just appears to be more.

Thanks, Vood - I love learning things like that... Tho, for some reason, 'warm spit' is somehow more evocative to me still....

I do the same thing. It was sent to me a few years ago when I got in a big argument with my boss. After about a half hour of disagreement, I went back to my desk and she had already sent me an email - those damn penguins. Made her point and did it with humor.
