I am a new guitar player only been at for 7 months.
I have played bass as a teen into my mid 20's
I was pretty good if I say so myself.
I bought a new bass in 2007 and started playing again the rust is still coming off but getting better.
I always wanted to find my inner Jimi so I started taking guitar lessons this past January. I am in my mid 40's but its better late than never.
My Gear:
Guitar Gear:
Fender Special Edition Custom Telecaster FMT HH, Amber
Fender Limited Edition Stratocaster with Direct-Mount Pickups Black
Line 6 Flextone III XL & Line 6 FBV Shortboard Footswitch
Bass Gear:
Peavey T-40, Ibanez SR500 Mahogany
Ampeg BA-210SP Bass Combo Amp with Effects
I just put a Fender Pink Paisley Stratocaster and a Vox DA20 on hold this weekend. The addiction continues up next is a Ibanez SR Prestige SR5000E although this may be way done the road a 2 grand Bass Guitar is a real investment.

Welcome!
I always wanted to find my inner Jimi so I started taking guitar lessons this past January. It's easier to find your outer Jimi, Sly, George Clinton, or Bootsy.
Just get yerself some bada$$ threads.
BTW, your handle sounds like a feminine product that went horribly awry ;).

Welcome MF!
How long have you had the T-40? Is it monstrously heavy like so many are? I have a Fury I bass, which is kinda like a T-20. T-40's are on my wishlist, but since I have 4 basses already I'm waiting until a good deal falls into my lap.

I bought the T-40 brand new in 1979 it is the natural wood axe without any finish what so ever. The T-40 was my first real bass, I hardly play it anymore but I can not part with her. Yeah its heavy but I never noticed it as much as other players did or do. The funny thing is I remember when I bought the T-40 it was no where as near as heavy as the Ibanez or Kramer basses were at that time. It still works and sounds great too I use GHS boomers on it.
