Not that it's all that fancy, but it just drips premium quality and produces what I consider the epitome of blues-rock tone. He's since replaced the Two-Rock head with a Carol Ann 100W head (http://www.premierguitar.com/Magazine/Issue/Daily/News/Joe_Bonamassa_Teams_Up_with_Carol_Ann_for_Signatur e_Amp.aspx):

Nice bunch of pedals, too, but almost all of them are off-the-shelf effects you can by yourself. Hmmm, maybe I should try to get Joe into a ZYS Mark II.... ;)

I am mighty partial to Mayer's Two Rock rig:

See rig at Two Rock site here:

I also really like Brian Setzer's suite of Blonde Bassmans here:

Bonamassa is so humble......I love how he demonstrates how differently 1 guitar can sound with 3 different amps.

That first rig looks like a computer from the 50s!

Plank, I heard that everytime a guitarist buys an Axe FX god kills a puppy. How can you live with yourself?

He does a very nice presentation. He seems very unassuming and a nice guy to boot.

That's Jerry Garcia, ca. early 1970's, before he got the full beard.

I saw the Dead twice, a couple of months apart, in 1974, and the "great wall of sound" was an impressive sight, indeed. See more here:

The Axe FX has been the answer to my prayers to the gods of tone. It's everything I've been seeking........................in one box. :D
