Agree, the objective is to put out the fire and the sign is there for a reason. If it was my house or business burning, I wouldn't give a rats a-- about that BMW or the owner.

the driver and the hose runner is a numpty...
he shouldnt have parked there, but the hose could have gone over the roof.
although, smashing windows is fun :crazyguy:

Given how close he parked, it doesn't look like they could've gotten it over the car without seriously impeding the water flow. No sympathy for the driver.

Exactly. The limited bend radius of a 5" supply hose fully charged combined with the angle of the hydrant left them no choice.
In my FF days, I "hit" a few plugs, but never had an idiot block one with a car.
