the tele copy i just got is great, it only really has one downfall, some of the frets are abrasive and bends are difficult. When you bend, you can feel the string rub against the fretwire. Would fine gauge wire wool sort this out? oe would i be wasting my time, when really it would be better to just buy a new neck sometime.

Once again, the search function is your friend.
For the price of a new neck you can fix it, and others, if you can read and follow directions, and take the time to do it right. The tools aren't that expensive, and you'll be learning something useful.

Me and my dad leveled the frets on one of his guitars and it played so much nicer, (and a ton less expensive)
