Hello everybody!
A little bit about me.
I live in northern Sweden outside the city Skelleftea with my wife Doris and two of my three boys, Linus and Viktor (the oldest one, Kim moved to the city Umea for studies).
Getting close to the big 50 (a few years left).
Got my first guitar at round 12, have played off and on since then, mostly at home, jamming with some old rock, Santana, Robben Ford, and others playing on the stereo.
For about five-six years ago I started building my own electric guitars.
Made Eights so far and the last 3-4 ones works quite good, doesn’t use anything but them (getting a bit crowded on the walls in the bedroom at home). Haven’t sold any of them, don´t know if I could.
Here´s a few pictures:

Sadly when making one of the last I had a little accident with the table saw, cutting of most of the fingers on my right hand. Happily they managed to put the pieces back together quite well so I can still play even if fingerpicking is impossible. Found a thumbpick that works fine for me, even has the feel of a regular pick, you can find it here if you want to try: http://www.fredkellypicks.com/ (it´s the Bumblebee pick).

Making guitars is almost more fun then playing so I haven’t stopped after the accident. Have a few projects I’m working on and some adjustments waiting on a few old ones. The only backside is that it’s hard to find enough time to use them all. Some hope though, the youngest son started playing a year ago and from what I hear he’s getting quite good, maybe he’ll be the family’s rock star instead.

Here´s the other gear i use:
-Laney VC-30
-BlackStar HT Dual.
-Korg AX3000G
-Blackstar HT-5 (just bought it for practice in the bedroom, haven’t had time to use it much yet but so far I’m impressed).

Hasse

Glad to see another "digitally challenged" player on here! I took off my first three fingertips on my right hand with a snow blower. Not my finest hour.

Those guitars look really nice.

Welcome aboard Hasse. Beautiful guitars you built there. Something tells me they sound better than you think they do.

Welcome Hasse! Those guitars look lovely, and I am glad you can play them despite your accident. The natural finishes look like very traditional Swedish finishes to me, as much as I know as an American who has never been to Europe. But in any case, very beautiful!

Welcome aboard Hasse. Beautiful guitars you built there. Something tells me you would not have a problem selling those telecaster like guitars especially the one with humbuckers... how often does anyone see those or something akin to them? :AOK:

Welcome, and hello from Texas! (sorry, no tumble weeds or oil wells in my neighborhood) Sweden is the home of one of my favorite pro cyclists (now retired), Magnus Backstedt.

You've created some fine looking guitars. I love wood working, but sure don't have your level of skill. I hope your fingers gain more mobility over time. Never give up.

You'll find a great group of people here that are fun, and can answer most any question. I'm sure we all look forward to learning more about your hand made guitars.
