Some news on a possible biopic. I wonder why money-addicted Janie Hendrix has been waiting so long to give her consent to a good biopic.

there's no such thing as a good biopic, not in this era.

biopics are (mostly) for those who don't understand that a documentary is a film. some people need to have their hand held and have every film play out like a formulaic scripted story.

i suspect this will be focused on all of the stereotypical aspects of his life which have been covered ad nauseum and then a bunch of stuff that never happened since it's a fictionalization.

if it covers band of gypsys for more than five minutes, color me impressed.
