Hey,

How do you guys make tabs? Just notepad etc?

Does any of you know of a program for that, I mean, at least provide a basis or the necessary symbols etc simply?

Hmm...gotta go google...got an itch to try and tab something, never done it...

I use Guitar Pro, which I bought. I really like it. There is a free program called Power-Tab which is okay for the price - http://www.power-tab.net/guitar.php but I found it buggy, unstable and inflexible for my needs. Guitar Pro has a virtual fretboard, so you can just click the notes and they are entered as tab and notation right away. Slick.

Okay...I'll check it out.

Tried an online tab thingy...dunno if it makes sense to anyone but me.
I don't get how to mark time changes etc.
