Just in time for the US's 3-day Labor Day weekend, drumroll please:

SWINE FLU!

Plus, I have a performance at church tomorrow night with a new side band, Gator football parking at church on Saturday night, and playing in church Sunday.

Should make for an interesting weekend.

You have swine flu? That is not good Brian!

Not me, my 12-year-old son.

Got a fever last night after coming home from church, his mom took him to the doc today.

Glad she decided not to wait til tomorrow.

He has said there's a lot of kids absent at his school.

Thanks guys.

Jack had a fairly rare disease called Kawasaki Disease when he was 2 or 3 years old, and he is more susceptible to upper respiratory things like pneumonia and such.

In all probability it will hopefully just be something that ruins our holiday weekend. Or more realistically, keep us/him more homebound.

Krash, sorry to hear that. At his age, it should be nothing more than an inconvenience, hopefully. Sending some mojo your/his way! All the best...

Prayers and mojo for you and your son Brian. Sounds like a full weekend as it is, even without the flu. Hopefully, your son will get better soon. Good luck with it!

Thanks guys.

I just hope no one else gets it.

My wife just woke up and is not feeling well, we'll see if it's something else and just coincidence as time goes by I reckon.

It was slow at work anyhow, so I'ma take a sick day in case Mrs. K has it too.

So far I'm OK at least. La Krashpadita also.

Thanks guys, the mojo is working. Whatever my wife had this morning was not flu, swine or otherwise. She's already feeling much better.

Jack is taking ibuprofen to keep fever in check and playing a lot of video games.

Thanks Ron, we were hoping he'd be fever-free yesterday so he could go to church today, but it came back, so no dice.

Something going on alright. I felt like crap the past three days. Sore chest, rough coughs and sinus woes. Even my bowels was taking a beating. I feel better this morning but relieved is more like it, I'm scared of that swine flu.

All the mojo to us to beat this thing.

The swine flu is making it's rounds through our home.
A graveyard class headache with the yuckies for about 2 days.
Advil works pretty good for the melon pain.

All the best to feel better soon to your clan.
