Yet another first day of school

Well today is my first day as a sophomore at my high school. Kind of a big change going from staying up till 3:00 AM and waking up at 1:00 PM to waking up at 5:00 AM for jazz band. Still not used to it but I'll get the hang of it;)

Wow, you get an old school summer vacation.
Our kids are in their 3rd week too.

House is kinda lonesome without all the sound checks and neighbor kids hangin' out.

Well things went pretty good today. Typical listen to teachers talk the whole day but oh well.

As for jazz band there is another freshman who wants to play the bass also but I got seniority and got the folders and stuff for bass guitar. But it's my job to mentor him I guess and teach him how to read sheet music and stuff.

And my guess is we'll switch out on songs and I'll probably play guitar when he's playing the bass.

Didn't really have homework on the first day just a bunch of stuff to sign.

I did today though I got all of it done except for some choir homework (key signature test) but Ima go do that.
