Daughter got the Fin LED microphone as a gift. She sings and plays, thought that particular mic was cool so her broke boyfriend bought it for her.

So now it's my task to make it work. and I dunno know what I'm looking at.

Instructions call for: "The fun part of The Fin is the four L.E.D. lamps mounted inside. These can only be illuminated when using The Fin into one of the 3-pin balanced XLR inputs."

So here's my question:
Any cheap way through this?
Perhaps a low cost amp and a low cost gizmo box that will have the 3 pin imput with phantom power?

Thanks for any tutoring and guidance.

Very well then.
I'll have to deal with the mean counter guy at GC and report back.
