Yup! Spudman turned me on to Indigenous. No doubt that the guy can play, but he sounds too derivative of SRV on many of their tunes. Then again, if I could play like Stevie, I'd prolly never stop either.... :D

Their latest album is a little less SRV Voodoo.
Good player anyway.

I am a Huge Fan Of Mato been following him since about 1990...I have all of their First out of print Cds Plus about 50 lives shows and a handfull of Dvd . He Plays the Hendrix Experience Almost every year. gets some b chen Tones thats For sure !!! the volume is a bit low on this but an example of his playing. Indigenous started out with Mato on Guitar ,Vocals/ his Sister Wanbdi on drums/ His brother PTI on Bass/ and cousin Horse on percussion....They went their seperate ways in about 2006 and Now Mato Tours with the Kris Lager band as Indigenous.
