Does anyone know where to find .016 wound individual guitar strings? It doesn't matter what brand.....just needs to be .016 wound electric.

Give this a shot.

Looks like GHS Boomers (Dynamite Alloy), are available from .016 up.
Ernie Ball, D'addario, Fender... looks like they start at .018.

You can find .016 steel singles anywhere, but I've not seen a wound one in that diameter. D'Addario does make a wound .017 though:

If you're just looking for .016 string singles, go here:

Yeah, me neither...I'm just guessing that since (on JustStrings) the GHS DY Boomers started at .016, and from the popular brands and JS house brand I took a peek at nothing lighter than .018 it could be wound, vs. the GHS Plain Steels.

D'Addario includes a .017 wound in the XL110 Nickel Wound sets and also sells them as multipak singles. I wouldn't trust a .016 bronze wound anyway as it seems like it would be very fragile at 16.5 lbs nominal loading.
.016 is ok for stainless steel wire or .017 with SS core w/nickel wrap.
Try it. What'll you lose besides 99 cents?

Thanks, wingsdad. It's only $20 so I went ahead and ordered 10 of them. If
they aren't wound I'll still end up using them eventually anyway.

Many times, that guage of string will have a 'W' in front of, or behind the dimension.
Hope you play jazz or blues that doesn't require a lot of bending because they really are a ***** to bend. I used one for a few months before I switched back. I had to bend twice as far to get the same pitch out of it as an un-wound G string.
They do sound nice and full though, and tune easier.
