This is a short lesson that kicks off a series on chord shapes that will be useful for both rhythm and lead guitar chops....there should be about 4 lessons in this series and each lesson will probably have a backing track to play the examples along with....

Since my last lesson series I've added some stuff to the "Registered Users" section of the website including some drum loops for you guys to practice with. I should have more coming this weekend....

My blog is now something of a "Practice Diary" where I am writing about my "reconstruction" as a player...some of this is to demonstrate how learning process works for me as a player for you guys and some of it is because I am really sick of my own playing and want to make some changes. We'll see how that goes at http://blog.markwein.com (http://blog.markwein.com/)

On the forum we just had our "1980's RecordingFest" - I played guitar on a song with some of the forumites reliving my High School fantasies of being in Whitesnake :D You can hear it here: http://markweinguitarlessons.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7208

If you're interested we are just getting the details down for our next Recordingfest....everyone is welcome to contribute!

Have fun and I'll see ya's next week with the next installment of Partial Chord Shapes!
