Musicians Friend just included a flyer with my order and if you mention code 909T when you call you can get one of these for $149! I've got a 4 and 5 string and they are active with beautiful tops. Great bass for a small price.

Just wondering but in your opinion do you think I should buy the SX that robert have or would it be better to save up an extra 50 bucks and get this?

I haven't played the SX so I really couldn't say. My old bass player used my 4 and 5 string to gig with and there were no issues.

Seems like a good price but those things are way too quilty for me.

Besides, I just shot the wad on a T-40 ($275 w/hsc) last month and am up to 5 basses, which is beginning to seem excessive even for me.
