"Scene" pages.
There are at least 2 for my town, Gainesville, Florida. One focusing on the '80's, one on the '90's.

Seeing all those pics brings back fond memories. It's like having a huge scrapbook made by several hundred people. I just found a link to a set of 37 photos, from a show Crash Pad did in 2001, that I'd entirely forgot existed (the photos, not the show). It's especially fun for time periods like the '80's where everything didn't get immediately put up and memorialized/archived on teh intranets.
