I watched this film on DVD last night--brilliant!

It's based on Bob Dylan's many personae.

Cate Blanchett is fantastic as the '65-'66 Bob.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I remember all the buzz about it but I've been unsure whether it would be worth the time. I'll have to watch it now.

It's a great movie and worth every minute. I loved it. Gives a nice tour of the inside of Bob's head as well as his life.:crazyguy

The most confusing part is the Richard Gere Basement tapes/John Wesley Harding/Pat Garret & Billy the Kid Bob.

It made sense to me as well, but I still want to watch it again as there are a lot of interesting elements like connections to Fellini's 8 1/2.
