+1 on The Colonel and Strummer.

I have to add the very under rated Terry Kath and his highly modded Tele (minus the Pignose stickers).

Hendrix on Terry Kath:
"I taught I could play but this dude rocks".
"Your guitar player is better than me." (sait to Walt Parazadier)

Cool! Springsteen, Strummer, and Summers (sounds like a law firm) for me. And George on side two of Abbey Road.

I'd have to go with Muddy, Steve Morse, and Albert Lee.

Of those known to be true Telecaster legends, for me it's James Burton, Steve Cropper (check out his list of writing/co-writing credits - some of the legendary soul-R&B classics!), Albert Lee and Keef.

Without question, Jerry Donahue. Everytime I pick up my Tele, a part of me is depressed knowing that even if I practiced 20 hours a day (no real danger of that) I would never be half the Telemaster he is. Recommended listening: "Neck of the Wood".

Roy Buchannan, Daany Gatton, and Albert Lee for me. And I only discovered these guys about 2 months ago, since I started tio 're-learn' the guitar.
