Great sounding amp there, Dan! Is the Guytron GT20 based on the 20W Marshall 2061x design?

Thanks guys !

The GT20, 40, and 100 all share the same pre-amp design, but to my knowlegde, it's not based on the Marshall. Guy Hedrik (hence Guytron) is the designer / inventer / master mind. I build them, but I don't know enough about other manufacturers designs to know the similarities or differences. Plus, if I knew, I'm not at liberty to share that info.

Something I can share: One of the patented designs of the GT100 is that it uses a pair of EL84's in the preamp to obtain that Output Tube Drive Tone at virtually any volume level. The EL84 output is then stepped down and fed into a clean 100 watt EL34 power amp. If you get a chance, listen to the clips on the Guytron site, they are incredibly accurate to the real tone of that monster.
