This is a decal that I made for my friend Abraxas:

He's going to put it on his new partscaster...

Do you like it???

A friend of mine had helped me copying Fender's spagghetti logo.

Then I found the font the Fender that uses for the words "STRATOCASTER" & "TELECASTER", which is FUTURA.

At first I made some exact copies of Fender's decals (for my Rockinger tele and strat) but then I decided to change it to:
Ferden by just swaping on Corel the "er" with the "en".

This one was made again on Corel Draw, based on the original that I had and by changing the shape of the lines.
Abraxas asked me to do it for his new partscaster...

Of course it was more difficult than the Ferden but I think that the
result is convincing ;)

Look at these variations that I've also made:

Tele logo:

Squier 51:

What did you print them with ?

I print them on transparent adhesive paper and then paint them on the back using gold or silver permanent marker.

I saw that technique here:

For best results, use decal paper (I didn't have one...) which is thinner than a regular self-adhensive trasparency.

I'm just trying to work out whether I have asynchronous talent or not.

Nice to know that you are really a genius when you thought that you just not "in time".
