Did this for the Rev.
Nothing to brag on, but I enjoyed doing it for Matt.

Wow, sounds great, OG! I somehow missed that whole "Soldano for the rest of us" thread. Congrats on picking up one of these amps. Great tone, great value.

Glenn pm'd me about this before. Sounds great, as does the GW review of it too in the other thread.

He mentions it in the info on the YouTube page. He's using an Epiphone 4x12 with (Eminence) Lady Luck speakers. The Jet City cabs all come with custom Eminence speakers: 1x12, 2x12, and 4x12.

edit.... (oops.....marnold beat me to it whilst I typed.....oh well)

Thanks, M29. That was the 4x12 Epiphone cab w/ Lady Luck speakers. It was the cab that came with my Epi SoCal half stack. The volume was "loud speaking voice", you'd have to speak up to be heard over the amph 10 feet in front of it. The family can sit in the kitchen and visit on the other side of the wall 30ft. away. As you turn this amph up it just gets better. To me, it has a nice clean sound, but cranking the gain and volume is where it really lives. At $299 the head's a stupid good deal if you wanna rock.

Great clip! On that recommendation I'm going to pick me up one when
I head South of the Border for Christmas. :dude

Looks like you'll have to go all the way down to Lynnwood, Don. I was hoping they'd have a dealer in Bellingham so that I could try one out next time I'm up visiting the family.

That amph sure does sound nice. Especially with a Les Paul. Almost like they were made for each other.

Man. Pretty muscular tone. Nice riffage, too.

Great stuff, thanks so much for the demo. Sounds better than what we put up on YouTube.

About how well the JCA20H goes with a Les Paul? TOTALLY. My other partner Dan and I each bought one within the past week. I had been playing with my ES335 until now, and even though I love that too, the Les Paul is whole 'nother ball o' wax...

Hey.........where you been? :poke

You are right. I love my Roadhouse Strats, but the heavy bodied humbucker loaded guitars seem to really bring out the beast in this head. It has an unreal high-gain sound at a very reasonable volume with a LP type guitar. That Agile I'm playing is loaded w/ WCR Crossroads pickups, and at a very moderate volume it sounds like a huge modded british stack.
That particular video is guitar+cable+amph........nothing else, and recorded w/ a JVC Everio HD camcorder into the camcorder mic alone.........now, imagine how much better it'd sound into, say, a Shure mic w/ a good console properly eq'd. Well, that's how it sounds in my house.:D :D :D

So, where can we find these in-stock around the Seattle area? :)

bcdon........ if you know the zip code in Seattle, go here and you may find a dealer. They are showing up at more GC's and MF, but I'm not familiar w/ the Seattle area.
