Just saw on Joe Bonamassa's Facebook page that despite paying $2,200 in excess baggage fees, Cypress Airlines managed to break the Musicman Baritone that he used at the Royal Albert Hall. Ouch. As far as baggage fees go, he says that Alitalia charged them $7,500. How can an artist afford to tour Europe at those prices?

Because Europe is where it's at for music right now. Plenty of gigs and appreciative fans makes it a money maker.

Hasn't Europe been where it's at for music for some time now?I mean where Otis Rush and others at that time took off to cause, well that's when Heavy Metal was comming on(70's) and over in Europe the Blues for one is treated as an artform and not Just music.Sumi:D
