What's the matter with the world of today
Everybody wants something to say
With so many voices shouting loud
Standing out in an expanding crowd
Why won't you let me be me
In a world where you're free to be free
Can you really know how I feel
When there's so much to reveal and
When I give
You try to steal
I watched you in the mirror all night
I see us in a fantasy world
You and me in reflective isolation
Together we touch between nations
Switching channels and changing sides
Never satisfied with the answers
Passing go, hands in pockets
slammed the door, forgot to lock it
