I have the Analogman DS-1. I don't know if they are a similar mod though. To me, the DS-1 is almost worthless in it's stock form. With the mod, and there are several out there, it becomes a good pedal for distorted leads. I rarely use mine for rhythm.

I like the sound from the clips I hear online. Classic 80s metal thing. I just don't know if I like it for $129.

If you're handy with a soldering iron, you can mod your own DS-1:

Monte Allums makes some nice mods according to DVM, and I plan on trying a few out after I pay off some of my Christmas debt. :thwap

I personally like my stock DS-1 alot.
But on the other hand my dad has a DS-1 that we put a monte allums mod on it and boy what a player that thing is.

Thanks for the info guys. I have been hearing a lot of great things about these kits, both the streight builds, and the mods. Sounds like a lot of fun. I might as well jump in the deep water and get to swimmng.
