This guy is selling his 69 Telecaster ....Has been refretted ,comes with hard case..

Is $1,800.00 CAD a good starting price from what you see ?

Here is the Bluebook general info:

TELECASTER (CBS MFG. 1965-1983)
- single cutaway ash body with routing channel between the pickups, bolt-on maple neck, "F" stamp on neckplate, 21-fret maple fingerboard with black dot inlays (1967-1982) or rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays (1965-69), "Telecaster" logo on headstock with six-on-one-side tuners, STB anchored bridge with three paired-string adj. saddles, white pickguard, two single coil pickups, two knobs (v, tone) and a three-way switch mounted on a metal plate, chrome hardware, available in Blonde finish, mfg. 1965-1982.

serial numbers 200,000-300,000=us 69/70..........so it looks inmho authentic but dont go by what I say alone please..........peace brother:cool:

Register to http://www.gumtree.com/ and try to join him on his Kijiji Ad site..

I found that gumtree.com.. is the UK equivalent of this guy classifieds site Kijiji ,so you might be able to join him and discuss at least you could try..

If not i could ask about the posting for you from here..

Hey thanks Blaze , i lost out on a Jap 72 Thinline reissue yesterday on ebay ,so this got me thinking, but like my wife says do I really need ' all those guitars that look the same' {although I think we all know the answer to that.}
