Just realized I haven't shared this on the Fret....
Picked up a GDS 18Watt Single Channel Kit back in September...
Fun project, this thing rocks, just volume and tone, and its bad to the bone!

Now for the matching 1x12 cab:
Grill was a bit darker than I expected but cool none the less.
Also, I added a personal logo, tried to capture the Marshall spirit...

Well, the kit comes with detailed instructions and if you can solder half way decent, then it's actually pretty simple. Just a bit labor intensive with all the wiring.

I gotta work on some sound clips, but yeah, it's smokin'.

Oh, also forgot to mention that the cabinet has a built in mic.
It was a special order built to the Guytron 1x12 spec.
See: http://www.guytron.com/
It's shown on the GT20 Combo....

Here's the verbage...

The All-New HLB Jack: A Top Quality Sennheiser Mic element mounted in the perfect close-Mic position for the provided element and speaker marriage. The sounds are studio ready, and sound the same every night. Also, the thick grille cloth blocks out most of the feedback and "bleed through" from stage noise. This is the tone you have spent years perfecting - now yours effortlessly. How many people have had the old "Hang a "57" from the handle" sound to contend with? Moving a Mic even 1/2" can make a huge difference in your tone - much less using a Bi-Polar Mic sideways. The GT20's HLB feature totally covers you.
